We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of Hand to Hand, a brand-new, independent non-profit organization dedicated to direct-impact community care! 🤝💛
Our mission is simple: neighbors helping neighbors on level ground. Instead of sending resources into a vast regional system, Hand to Hand acts as a direct link—taking essentials directly from your hands and placing them into the hands of local families who are quietly struggling or falling through the cracks.
To honor our community, we believe that receiving help should never feel public or stressful. That’s why we completely separate our operations: we will be hosting collection drives during public community events, but the actual packaging and distribution of our custom Care Boxes will happen on completely separate days in absolute privacy and dignity.
We are currently building up our initial supply inventory for our upcoming inaugural distribution events. We aren't just collecting food; we are stocking complete, balanced household care kits that cover pantry staples, hygiene necessities, clothing, and school essentials. We need your help to get our shelves ready!
🛒 WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW:
🥫 NON-PERISHABLE FOOD STAPLES
• Canned Proteins: Tuna, chicken, and canned meats
• Grains & Pantry: Pasta & pasta sauce (cans or plastic pouches only—no glass jars!)
• Breakfast Items: Boxed cereals and oatmeal packets
• Hearty Meals: Canned stews, chilis, and hearty soups
• Baking Essentials: Baking mixes, flour, sugar, and cooking oils
🧼 NON-FOOD HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS
• Paper Goods: Toilet paper and paper towels
• Personal Care: Bar soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste
• Household Cleaning: Laundry detergent pods and dish soap
• Baby Care: Baby wipes and diapers (especially sizes 4, 5, and 6)

• School Needs: Notebooks, pencils, crayons, washable markers, backpacks, and folders
• Warm Apparel: New socks, new packages of undergarments, winter hats, and gloves
• Outwear: Gently used or new seasonal jackets and coats
